Our memory is mostly gone. We tried to forget, and thus, after over sixteen years of trying to forget, I forgot. I can't trust my memory much anymore. Even if I can try to recover everything, it will take years of therapy to get it back.

One thing that had stuck with me was Heidi, the cat on the front page of Catz GBC. I named her after the aunt I saw the most when I played Catz GBC the most.

My Mom (actually great-grandma) let me play on some GameBoys she got to entertain my older cousins, but I grew to love gaming as a whole as a special interest. But I always liked cats in real life, even if I could only see other people's cats. I wanted a persian cat with a pink bow. But it wasn't until I was about eleven that I got my own cat (who basically became Mom's cat).

Heidi was a good Aunt to me. She would babysit me when Dad headed out to get chemo from the far away towns. She had a bunch of cats and encouraged my love for them.

Most of my memory of Catz GBC is long gone. But I remember two things:
- The cat on the title menu that I named a cat after Heidi..
- Somehow unlocking the blue paint on a persian.

I don't recall if its the cat on the cartridge sticker or the one in-game in the title menu. I remembred the title menu first, so probably that one. But until the memories can somehow be recovered, they are both Heidi.

I made this page to spread the word of Heidi the Cat. I want her to be known as Heidi, just as a fun thing to celebrate my Aunt and my introduction to Petz as a whole.
